Classvox Terms of Service
AI-Powered Educational Communication Platform
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Classvox ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Acceptance by Schools and Teachers
- For Educational Institutions: Your use constitutes agreement to these Terms and acknowledgment of FERPA, COPPA, and TCPA compliance obligations.
- For Teachers/Educators: By creating an account, you agree to use the Service solely for legitimate educational purposes and to protect student privacy.
Parent Consent and Opt-Out
- Implied Consent: By maintaining a student's phone number in your records, parents provide implied consent for educational communications via automated calls.
- STOP Directive: Parents can opt out by saying "stop" at any time during a call. Upon hearing "stop," the system immediately terminates the call and prevents future automated communications to that number.
- Opt-Out Process: Parents may stop service by saying "stop" during any call, or by contacting the teacher/school directly to request removal from the contact list.
- Teacher Responsibility: Teachers must manually remove parent phone numbers immediately upon request and confirm opt-out within 24 hours.
- Compliance: All automated calling complies with TCPA opt-out requirements, requiring immediate cessation of calls upon "stop" directive.
